DECALS

As previously mentioned, the decals in this kit cannot be shown due to strict legal reasons.
The following images are intended as a guide to help with placing.
Of course, the decals have been deliberately blurred but hopefully the pics will show where the decals go.
An internet search will also bring up numerous pictures of the real car for reference.

Apply the decals in the usual way, NOT as suggested in the printed instructions which are confusing, and suggest somehow removing the clear carrier film BEFORE fitting the decal.
This is impossible, as if you try to do this the decal will disintegrate into its separate component letters and be impossible to use.

Cut out the required decal and soak in tepid water for approx. 20 seconds.
Slide the decal from its backing paper into place on the model and with wet fingers, carefully slide it into position.
Dab the decal dry with folded kitchen roll or similar.

Allow all the decals to dry for around 24 hours. This is important.
After 24 hours, wet the applied decals one at a time with water from a paintbrush and allow to soak for about a minute, continually moving the water around over the decal with the brush.

Using a sharp knife blade, very carefully lift the edge of the clear film and VERY gently, peel the film away from the decal.
If any part of the decal seems stuck to the clear film, dab a little water between the film and the decal, wait a moment, and then continue.
It the decal is still being difficult, try peeling the film from a different direction.
Dab the decal dry with kitchen roll but do NOT rub the decal.
Allow to dry for another 24 hours.

With a little patience, it works very well leaving decals with no carrier film at all.

NOTE – You may feel more comfortable and confident just leaving the clear carrier on the decals.
Either method is entirely at the builder’s discretion.
