I think it happens to us all at times. It did with me a few years ago but after a while I got the 'urge' to build something and that was it.
Don't force yourself to build something. It will happen.

To get me in the mood again. I watch some YouTube videos of people building the same thing I am working on or want to work on. I get inspired by how people do things that I have not thought of and I would like to try. That or you watch something and think to yourself: "I can do that better." and it lights that spark again. Some really good modellers to follow are: A4 Garage: I can't tell you how amazing this guy is at modifying car kits International Scale Modeller: Paul is an amazing painter OMG Scaleworks: Nice relaxing videos of amazing builds If you are not interested in cars then I am sure there are tons of guys and gals to watch for inspiration Best Regards, Ron
On the bench: DeAgostini '67 Ford Shelby Mustang, Hachette Space Battleship Yamato 2202, Agora Models T-800 Terminator Finished builds: DeAgostini Toyota 2000GT In the Stash: Losing count...

Hi Dan, Sorry a bit late to this one, I’ve lost the passion in the past. The best way I find to get back into modelling is to see if any friends or family members would like a model built. That way you have a good reason to build one, if it’s family and I have the kit I just built it for them, if it friends/work mates if I have the kit I see if there willing to pay of the kit or buy one if it’s not what you normally build. If built all versions of the BTTF DeLorean for one guy and planes of other people. But whichever way you find your way back it just takes time. My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -
Current Build - 0-6-0 https://forum.deagostini...=351803&#post351803 Enterprise D - https://forum.deagostini...=posts&t=35768&
Built:-. HMS Bounty, RMS Titanic, MP4-23, Flying Scotsman, Aston Martin DB5, Honda CB750, Mustang, R2-D2, Jaguar, DeLorean, Testarossa, Stage Coach plus many plastic kits. Dry dock no room to display:-. Bismarck, U96. To build:-. HMS Hood. HMS Victory. Cutty Sark. SoS, Lancaster bomber. DR1 Triplane. JU-87. Plus many many plastic kits.
