STAGE 21:

Steering column.

Pic 1: Fit the two steering column parts 21A and 21B together as shown and fix them using 1 x ‘M’ screw.

Pic 2: This is to identify the three different brackets.

Pic 3: Retrieve the car nose assembly and fit bracket 21D in place as shown.
It will only fit one way.

Pic 4: Lay the column 21A in place with the double-collar section over the bracket.

Pic 5: Fit bracket 21C over the top, trapping the column in place.
Fix using 2 x ‘A’ screws.

Pic 6: Fit bracket 21E in place at the other end of the steering column as shown and secure with 2 x ‘A’ screws.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 22:

Front right suspension.

Pic 1: Fit the suspension arm 22B through the slot in the back plate knuckle 22D as shown.
The red line indicates the correct angle each end of the arm should be.
Do not fit the arm upside-down.

Pic 2: Fit the retaining plate 22C to the end of the arm and fix with 1 x ‘C’ screw.

Pic 3: Fit the double arm 22A through the slot as shown and fix to the other tabs on the retaining plate with 1 x ‘C’ screw.

Pic 4: Fix the retaining plate in place using 2 x ‘A’ screws.

Store the assembly safely for now.
