Hi All, Just driving into work last night at caught sight of the "Antonov" parked up at the airport cargo area.(Pic below) This is the smaller of the "Antonov" aircraft as I`m led to believe the larger six engine version now only lands at Manchester. Some stats for the larger 225 version: Each of the six engines produce 51,590 pounds of thrust. 16 of it`s 32 wheels are used for steering. Nearly the size of a football pitch. Maximum take-off weight over a million pounds Here`s a link to some pics/ video of the much bigger version that can swallow up a 737. Kev Hi Kev, Getting to see this on the ground is a bit easier for me, it visits where I work. Getting to see take-off or landing not so easy, but working on it. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
