It definitely said that they were diecast metal parts in the Pack 15 assembly instructions.
I've not taken mine out of the polythene bags yet, so I'm not sure what they're made of. They certainly feel light for metal, but if they're aluminium or something...

Always a good idea to check parts by opening the package first then it saves on having to post a question about something you could have easily answered yourself  Spencer
