Nice work Wilfy and the aotake blue looks good.  
I agree with yourself and Daran and I too have no desire for gimmicky working features on static kits and I especially don't like the so called 'realistic' tyres that come in vinyl in some kits?!    
Keep up the good work Wilf, looking forward to more progress reports.
